Funeral services for Robert Moseley, 78, of Roanoke, Alabama will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 30, 2026 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Mark Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.

Mr. Moseley passed away on Sunday, April 26 at Traylor’s Retirement Community.

Survivors include: his daughter, Melissa Fetner (Richie) of Roanoke, Alabama; two grandchildren, Lindsey Franklin and Lowery Franklin of Roanoke, Alabama; one sister, Sheila Moseley of Columbus, Georgia; two brothers, Richard Moseley (Helen) of Columbus, Georgia, and Gary Moseley (Cynthia) of Phenix City, Alabama; as well as a host of several nephews and a niece.

Pallbearers will be his nephews Jarrod Moseley, Bill Moseley, John Moseley, Chris Moseley. Arthur Law, and Michael Law.

A Columbus, Georgia native, Mr. Moseley was born on May 31, 1947, the son of Arthur and Lexie Moseley. Mr. Moseley was a 1965 graduate of Jordan Vocational High School in Columbus, Georgia and a 1969 graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery., Alabama. He worked as an accountant for many years in both Wadley, Alabama as well as Birmingham, Alabama. He enjoyed sports of all kinds and could easily have a lengthy conversation about any sports team or player with anyone he met. Mr. Moseley was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frank Moseley and Tommy Moseley.
