Ruby Elaine Bray, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and respected professional, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on July 10, 1943, in Enterprise, Alabama, Elaine lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a commitment to those around her.

Elaine’s career was distinguished by her steadfast service to the Muscogee County School District, where she dedicated 20 years to Central Registration. Prior to this, she contributed her talents to the Ledger Enquirer and Columbus Bank and Trust Company, demonstrating a versatility and work ethic that earned her the respect of colleagues and community alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Elaine found great joy in traveling the world alongside her husband, William H. "Billy" Bray.
