Rueben "Wes" Westee Harrison

Reuben “Wes” Westee Harrison, Jr., 74, of Columbus, GA died at Emory University in Atlanta, GA on October 4th, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Dennis Lacey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Wes was born July 9, 1948 in Columbus, GA to Clarissa Love and the late Reuben W. Harrison, Sr.  He was previously a teacher and coach at Columbus High School for 15 years. He most recently worked at Hyundai Glovis in Valley, AL  as a lead supervisor. He enjoyed baseball and football as well as deer and bird hunting. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his “babies” from Columbus High School.

He is survived by his mother, Clarissa Love of Columbus, GA; brothers, James Frost, John Frost and William Frost; niece, Brandy Frost; great-niece, Makayla Waldrup.
