Sandra Diane Brindle, 74, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory located at 3874 Gentian Blvd. Rev. Brandon Reed will be officiating. A private interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Sandra was born September 28, 1944 in Columbus, GA. She is the daughter of the late Victor Ernest Prophet, Sr. and Doris Davis Prophet. Sandra loved ALL people, but most importantly, she loved her family and grandchildren. She was a retired office manager, loved Braves Baseball and attended Eden Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Victor "Sonny" Ernest Prophet, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Barry Brindle of Columbus, GA., children, Shannon Hanscomb (Andrew) of Phenix City, AL., Jodi Alderson (Jared) of Murfreesboro, TN., Brittany Prophet (Brandon) of Columbus, GA., and Amanda Prophet of Columbus, GA., her ten grandchildren, Max, Rose, Addie, Solomon, Connor, Carlee, Elli May, Trinity Jezelle and Beckett and her brother, Chris Prophet of Columbus, GA.
Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring, may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/ in lieu of flowers.
