Shelbey Nicole (Hill) McCollom, age 24, died Monday, October 1, 2018 in Columbus, GA.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Shelbey was born May 28, 1994 in Mesa, AZ daughter of Amanda (Chambers) Hoffman. She will be remembered for having a loving, kind, sweet, giving and beautiful spirit. Her smile lit up every room she entered. Shelbey loved helping people and animals, as we expressed in her career choices of Vet Tech and pursuing a Nursing Career through Columbus College. While her time with us was far too short, the impact Shelbey had on our lives will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for all the happy memories you shared with us.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Doyle Chambers and paternal grandfather, Terry Hill.
Other than her mother, Amanda Hoffman of PA, and her stepfather, Gary Hoffman, she is survived by her husband, Jesse McCollom of Columbus, GA; her dog (baby), Minnie Marie Mouse; sister, Sarah (Hill) Findlay of PA; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Chambers and paternal grandmother, Bridgett Hill both of AZ; as well as many other family and friends.
