Terry Lee Fiquett, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Columbus, GA. Born on August 13, 1946, to the late Marcus and Sarah Fiquett. He lived a life marked by dedication, love, and service. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11:00am EST at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00 pm at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Terry was a proud graduate of Central High School in Phenix City and continued his education at Columbus College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. His commitment to his education laid the groundwork for a life filled with achievement and purpose.

Terry's life was deeply intertwined with his faith. He served in numerous capacities at Cornerstone Baptist Church, including as a past Deacon. His faith guided him in all aspects of his life, influencing his relationships with his family and the community at large.

In addition to his spiritual pursuits, Terry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he demonstrated bravery and commitment. He was honored with the Army Commendation Medal for his service, a testament to his dedication to his country.

The importance of family was a cornerstone of Terry's life. He was married to his loving wife, Sheryl Fiquett, for 60 wonderful years. Together, they raised three children: Tim (Sherri) Fiquett, Stacey Rash (Stephen), and Brad Fiquett, who brought him immense joy and pride. As a grandfather to Forrest Fiquett, Noah Fiquett, and Olivia Antonovich, as well as a great-grandfather to Harrison Fiquett, he cherished every moment spent with his family, nurturing connections and creating lasting memories.

Terry's passions extended beyond his family. He enjoyed running and cycling, participating in competitions that underscored his love for physical activity. Gardening was another of his treasured hobbies; he took great pride in cultivating a variety of plants and producing food for his family, reflecting his nurturing spirit and commitment to providing for them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sheryl; his children, Tim (Sherri), Stacey Rash (Stephen), and Brad Fiquett; his grandchildren, Forrest Fiquett, Noah Fiquett, and Olivia Antonovich; his great-grandchild, Harrison Fiquett; and his siblings, Donnie Fiquett, Dennis Fiquett, Beverlyn Bunn, and Dyane Gentry. Terry's legacy will also be remembered by his numerous extended family and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Sarah Fiquett, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

Terry Lee Fiquett leaves behind a profound legacy of love, faith, and service, inspiring those who knew him to carry forward his spirit of generosity and devotion. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
