Thelma Annette Gibney of Columbus, Ga. passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center.
A Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton, GA. Bluffton Road Bluffton, Clay County, Georgia, 39824 according to the funeral home.
Annette was born October 18, 1944 to the late Lester McNair and Clemmie Coleman McNair in Cuthbert, Ga. She retired from the City of Columbus where she worked in Parks and Recreation. She loved all types of crafts, leather working, and enjoyed knitting.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Timothy Gibney and grandchild Whitney Warrick.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Stafford(Donald) of Columbus, GA., Paige Howard(John) of Belfast, ME., brothers, Mac McNair(Donna) of Blakely, GA., Joe McNair(Ellen) of Mont. AL., sister, Jannette Wright of Mont. AL., grandchildren, Christian Gibney(Andrea), Andrew Warrick, great grandchildren Dylan Jankiewicz.
