Thomas Eugene “Gator” Bartlett, 73 of Box Springs, GA passed away on May 2, 2026. A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday May 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM EST at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery 553 AL-165, Ft. Mitchell, AL 36856 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Thomas was born March 24, 1953 in Columbus, GA to the late Homer Bartlett and Flora Mae Killingsworth Bartlett. He proudly served in the United States Army and National Guard. His favorite things to do (hobbies) Flying (Licensed Pilot) and riding his Harleys.

Survivors include his son: Richard Thomas “Ricky” Bartlett (Jennifer) of Baton Rouge, LA, daughters: Mellisa Lee-Williams (Joe) of Smith Station, AL and Crystal Jean Mathis (Brandon) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren: Jaclyn Bartlett, Evyn Johnson, Haley Salie, Sara-Blake Wells and Tanner Williams. Also includes, his sisters: Carol Harris, Judy Pulsifer and Myra Bartlett. He is preceded in death by a son: Thomas Carlton Bartlett and brothers: Stephen Bartlett and Daniel Bartlett.
