Thomas Daniel “DAN” Elmore, 79 of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday August 8, 2026 at his home according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Dan was born January 1, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the late Thomas Edison Elmore and Mary Juliette Medlock Jackson. He was a self-employed paint contractor and provided services to both residential and commercial customers. His love for fishing took him too many ponds, lakes, and rivers throughout this area where he enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the beautiful scenery.

Survivors include the love of his life, his wife: Wanda Elmore of Columbus, GA son: Jarred (Jennifer) of Columbus, GA grandsons: Mason Elmore and Tommy Davis both of Columbus, GA: granddaughter: Makenzie Harrison of Phenix City, AL nephew: Jay Medlock (Patty) of Tampa, FL niece: Louann Medlock of Phenix City, AL and a special cousin: Ron Medlock (Joy) of Waverly Hall, GA.
