Valeska Petermann Hardin, 85, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 10, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Valeska was born in Danzig, Germany to the late Karl Petermann and Hildagard Pantel Petermann. She loved watching the cooking channel, traveling, gambling and spending time with her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Austin Hardin, beloved grandson, Harrison Jones and granddaughter, Leslie Hardin.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jones (Edwin) of Columbus, GA, sons, Austin Hardin of Yankeetown, FL, Edgar Hardin of Columbus, GA, Rodger Hardin (Angela) of Trussville, AL, daughter in law, Delilah Hardin of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Coleman Jones, Aron Milam, Jeremy Hardin, Brandon Hardin, April Bracknell, Michelle Pietrzak, Kyle Pietrzak and numerous great-grandchildren.
