Virginia Lea Lee Parnell, 92, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Gentian Baptist Church 3853 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. David Hardwick officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Parnell was born November 5, 1926 in Flippin, AR daughter of the late Dennis and Ida Icy Landers Lee. She was the Activities Director for the Heritage House.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Parnell, siblings, Lloyd Lee, Delberta Flippin and Perky Poe, and grandson, Justin Henson.
Survivors include her children, Danny Osborne (Sandy) of Woodland, WA, Terry Henson of Columbus, GA, Vickie Westhoff of Dothan, AL and Diane Vautrot (Lloyd) of Ellijay, GA, sister, Patsy Massey of Marshall, AR, brother, Lloyd Lee (Freida) of Portland, OR, grandchildren, Chris Osborne (Erin Wells) of Vancouver, WA, Shelly Osborne of Woodland, WA, Garrett Henson (Ellen Smith) of Columbus, GA, Brittany Gregory (Nicholas) of Cataula, GA, Casey Westhoff of Dothan, AL, Jared Westhoff of Talladega, AL, Brandi Turner (Michael) of Dothan, AL, Jarod Vautrot (Emma) of Conyers, GA, Jennifer Vautrot of Ellijay, GA and Dennis Vautrot of Dallas, TX, great-grandchildren, Corbin Osborne of Vancouver, WA, Jason Osborne of Woodland, WA, Rowan Gregory of Cataula, GA, Rylee Moralas of Columbus, GA, Brodie Turner of Dothan, AL, Hannah Vines, Holden Vines both of Ellijay, GA and two "on the way", Gracie Gregory and Ford Henson, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members.
