Virginia Mann Stadnik, 78, Columbus, GA died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday December 7, 2013 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church with Dr. Geoff Hammond and Dr. Kevin Calhoun officiating. A private interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Stadnik was born August 29, 1935 in Warm Springs, GA daughter of the late William E. Mann and Virginia Bussey Mann. She was the owner operator of Virginia Stadnik Bridal Services where she was a Master Cake Decorator. She was a member of the Homemakers Association, "I.C.E.S." International Cake Exploration Society, a member of the Outstanding Young Women of America and a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church where she taught the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; Joseph Everett Stadnik, Sr, and brother; Freddie Mann.
Survivors include children; Dianne Stadnik Rozar of Cataula, GA, Lynda Stadnik Garrity (Roger) of Hamilton, GA, Melanie Stadnik Fuller (Jim) of Columbus, GA, and Joe Stadnik, Jr (Lorraine) of Phenix City, AL, brother; William E. Mann, Jr. (Elaine) of Cataula, GA, sister; Rosemary Wilson of Glen Carbon, IL, 7 grandchildren; Alicia Whitley, Melinda Britt, Jared Garrity, Brandon Avery, Brittany Avery, Blake Avery and Shae Linn Stadnik, 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Wynnbrook Building Fund, 500 River Knoll Way, Columbus, GA 31904.
