Walter Brand Lewis, 37, of Hamilton, GA died Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Piedmont Northside in Columbus, GA.

A private service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Brand was born February 19, 1989 in Columbus, GA to Danny Frank Lewis and Sara “Libby” Elizabeth Lewis. A dedicated small equipment technician, Brand brought craftsmanship and dependability to everything he did. Outside of work, he lived life with passion and heart. He loved the adrenaline of racing cars, the simple joy of gathering with family and friends around the grill, the quiet comfort of late- night phone calls that went on for hours and was a full-time hell raiser.

Above all, Brand cherished his family. His favorite moments were those spent with his children, making memories and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.

Other than his parents Brand is survived by his wife, Nickey Keyser Lewis of Hamilton, GA, children, Levi and Lane Lewis of Hamilton, GA, brother, Thomas Carter Lewis (Tabitha) of Hamilton, GA, nieces and nephews, Bentley Fowler, Carter Lewis, Noah Lewis all of Hamilton, GA, Bayleigh Keyser, Landon Keyser all of Ladonia, AL, brother- in-law, Joey Keyser (Debbie) of Ladonia, AL, parents-in-law, Rusty and Debra Keyser of Salem, AL, grandparents, George and Sandra, numerous other family and friends.
