William Black, 59, of Columbus, GA passed away May 25, 2026 after a brief illness.

William graduated from Hardaway High School and also graduated from Columbus State University in 1990 with a Bachelor’s of Science in marketing. William was active in scouting and was awarded his eagle scout in 1984 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Capt. William R. Black and Anne D. Black, his grandparents, Walter and Esther Deubler and his uncle Lt. Col. William F. Deubler

He is survived by his aunt Catherine Walton, cousins Clint Deubler (Hailee), and Debra Deubler (Todd Hoig).

Graveside services will be held at Bradford County Memorial Park in Towanda, PA at a later date.
