William Ralph Holloway

William Ralph Holloway, 88, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM,Thursday, October 2, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held following the service at Parkhill Cemetery.

Born in Hartford, AL to Essie & Pharoah Holloway. His bond with his siblings and parents was tremendously strong. He began work at Ft. Benning at 16 years old, where he gained many friendships. And was known for his dedication to his craft of painting, helpfulness, and humor. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He took great pride in providing for his family.

He was predeceased by his wife Martha Holloway, Grandson William Ronny Holloway Jr.; stepson Mark Owens, and brothers, Billy Mac Holloway and John Frank Holloway.

He is survived by Sons Tommy Holloway (Susie), Ronny Holloway, Daughter Cathy Ann, Brother Ellis Holloway, Stepdaughters Vicky Childs (Mike), Cathy Clayton (David), Terri Owens, Grandchildren Christy (Rudy), Jerry, TJ (Alex), Joseph Underwood. Great Grandchildren Brianna and Aden Wink, Katie and Collins Holloway, and many more nieces, nephews, Cousins, Grands, Great Grands, and Great Great Grands.
