Yuriko M. Peters, 81, Columbus, GA, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, November 22, 2013 at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Peters was born October 20, 1932 in Kiryu Shi Gumma-Ken, Japan, daughter of the late Hitakae and Kume Matsui. She was a member of The International Ladies Club and was a Homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years; Ronald Eugene Peters, of Columbus, GA, daughter; Regina Price (Timothy) of Columbus, GA, sons; Allen Peters (Stephanie) of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Donald Peters (Paula) of Fayetteville, GA, Ron Peters (Clarissa) of Little Rock, AR, 11 grandchildren; Cammeron, Corrie, John, Michael, Sophia, Samuel, Leya, Robert, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Katlyn, and 6 great-grandchildren; Bayley, Jansen, Alexis, Aeris, Sion, Rinoa.
