Albert Ronzo Holmes

Mr. Albert Ronzo Holmes, 83 of Mauk, GA. died July 17, 2021.  

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park in Columbus, GA.

A native of Columbus, GA, Mr. Holmes was born May 20, 1938, son of the late Grady Dewey Holmes and Clyde Marie Carter Holmes.  He was raised in faith in Second Avenue Baptist Church in Columbus, GA.  He was previously employed as a forklift operator at G B Battery Plant.  Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by his wives Mary Evelyn Holmes and Helen Holmes, his brothers Charles Holmes and Gene Holmes and his sisters Shirley Glover and Mildred Vela.

He is survived by his daughters, Melinda Herring, Columbus, GA. And Teresa Wragg (Wade Smith) of Colquitt, GA. Grandchildren Mary Guadagnoli (David) of North, SC., Elizabeth “Beth” Whitley, Lynn Haven, FL., John McMillan (Rose), Phenix City, AL., James Herring, Jr., Mauk, GA., and Jamine Wilson (Curtis Young), Columbus, GA., sister Janice Camp  and brothers Wilbur Holmes, Sr. (Kate) and Larry Holmes all of Smith Station, AL.
