Arnold Lee McCarty, 76, of Columbus, GA died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Travis Rigsby officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage everyone to make the best decisions to remain safe. Arnold was born August 7, 1945 in Columbus, GA to the late Walter and Mary Rhodes McCarty. He worked as a plumber for 32 years at H & W. He loved fishing, hunting, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Parrish McCarty of Columbus, GA, son, Chris McCarty (Lacey) of Leesburg, GA, brothers; Jimmy McCarty (Carol) of Columbus, GA, Don McCarty (Gail) of Smiths Station, AL, Larry McCarty of Columbus, GA, Bobby McCarty (Linda) of Smiths Station, AL, grandchildren; Catherine Alloy (Steven) of Birmingham, AL, Claire McCarty of Kennesaw, GA, Mack McCarty, of Leesburg, GA, numerous, nieces, nephews and other family members.
