Charline Whitaker Milstead, 61, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion County, GA with Stoney Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Milstead was born April 18, 1954 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Willie C. Wright and Sally Ann Bryant Wright. She was a homemaker and loved to dance, cook and spend time with her family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Albert Huff and sister, Mary Sosebee.
Survivors include her daughters, Jacqueline Purvis (Cory) of Ft. Bragg, NC, Sharetha Marsh (Scott) of Ukiah, CA , and Michelle Milstead of Waco, TX; son, Glenn Hasley, Jr. (Crystal) of Columbus, GA; sisters, Leslie Starling (Dale) and Florence Weldy (Marty) all of Columbus, GA; brothers, Stoney Whitaker (Linda) and George Wright all of Columbus, GA; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, however, those so desiring may make contributions to Gentiva Hospice, 100 Brookstone Center Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904.
