Cheryl was born May 13, 1965 in Martinsburg, WV to the late Rev. Ralph Melton and Shirley Morlock Melton. She was an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, Gigi, and friend. She had an outgoing personality and a loving spirit. She loved spending time with her family and serving others. She worked at Columbus Hospiceas a Registered Nurse for 17 years in many dynamic roles and is fondly remembered as “one of the good ones” by her peers.  Cheryl loved to cook, especially for her friends and family, and hosted many wonderful holidays and pool parties. She brought people together, and made others feel comfortable and loved. She was an incredible influencer of hope and healing both personally and professionally.  She was laidback, had a great sense of humor, and she loved to laugh. Cheryl dedicated her life to her family, her friends, and her career. Although her passing was sudden, and her presence will be so sorely missed, her family is comforted to know that she is now with God.
