Dorothy Greene Qualls

Dorothy Greene Qualls of Ellerslie, GA passed away the 13th of March, 2021 in Columbus, GA. She was born in Columbus, GA on April 22, 1941 to the late Jimmie and Arcie Lee Greene. 

Dorothy attended Jordan High School where she and her husband Larry met. They were high school sweethearts. She was employed by Sunshine Biscuit Company for 38 years. She loved her work family.  

She attended Bethesda Baptist Church in Ellerslie, GA and was a member of the Victory Sunday School Class. She also loved her church family very much. 

Her hobbies included crochet, shopping and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family. 

Other than her parents and siblings, Mrs. Qualls was preceded in death by her husband Larry Donald Qualls, Sr. to whom she was married to for 48 years and her son-in-law, Terry Ronald Blaxton, Sr.

Survivors include her children, a daughter Sharon Qualls Blaxton of Columbus, GA, and a son Larry Donald Qualls, Jr. and wife Carmen of Midland, GA. Her grandchildren; Terry Blaxton and wife Jessica of Cataula, GA, Lauren Patterson and husband Todd of Phenix City, AL, Kaylyn Harp and husband Josh of Columbus, GA, Kristen Qualls of Auburn, AL, Clayton Qualls of Midland, GA, Coleson Taylor of Phenix City, AL, Sierra Taylor of Midland, GA, and Christian Harp of Columbus, GA. Her great grandchildren; Makayla Ann Blaxton, Terry Ronald Blaxton III, Sawyer Kate Mehaffey, Blaxton Lee Patterson and Terryn Ronald Patterson.

A funeral service will be held in the Memorial Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00pm.
