Dr. John Weber Rowe, Jr., 90 of Columbus, GA. Died April 2, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House. A memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing will be required.
Dr. Rowe was born November 18, 1930 in Reid Park, PA, son of the late John W. Rowe, Sr. and Mary Alice Croft Jones. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was self-employed and owner of Rowe Chiropractic Clinic in Manchester, GA from 1964-1999. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church and was previously an active member of the Harley Owners Group. He was a member and past president of the Columbus Track Club and was previously an active runner. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking his dog, Harley with him.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lynne Rowe of Columbus, GA., a daughter Robin Harp, Columbus, GA, two sons Webb Rowe and Scott Rowe both of California, two grandchildren Rhea Simmons of Harris Co., GA and Chris Harp of Phenix City, AL and five great-grandchildren Melana Simmons, Hannah Harp, Will Harp, Abbeygail Harp and Blayne Harp.
