Euna Lee Marie Sellers

Euna Lee Marie Sellers, of West Point, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2021 after 91 years of a beautiful life.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Jason Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 PM before the graveside service at  McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the visitation and the service.

Euna was born August 21, 1929 in Piave, MS to the late Samuel H. Brown and Irene Fields Brown. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Wallace P. Sellers Jr. and her siblings.

Euna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She embraced life with open arms, wearing many different hats as an avid homemaker, caregiver, school crossing guard and traveler. Her home was always filled with happy celebrations, being a beacon of comfort to family and friends. She shined as an outstanding gardener and at 65, she discovered her passion for painting and became a talented artist.

She is survived by her children, Steve Sellers (Diane) of Midland, GA, Mike Sellers (Sarah) of Crawford, GA, Suzy Hale (Adam) of Clermont, FL, Keith Sellers (LaVelle) of West Point, GA, Angela Pope (Bill) of West Point, GA, 10 grandchildren, Wayne Sellers (Crystal), Sandy Hovey (Randy), Michael Sellers, Jr. (Kellie), Brande Grantham (Joe), Pastor Jason Cooper (Wendy), Tara Forbes, Brandon Sellers (Elena), Matthew Sellers (Maggie Nell), Lacey Parmer (Frank), Amanda Hughes (Shederal), 25 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, several wonderful nieces, nephews, many family friends, and a sweet little Yorkie named Lady.
