Harold Alexander Weinbaum Jr., 1st SGT U.S. Army (RET) passed away in his home November 15, 2023.
Graveside services will be held 1:30PM Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2023 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Harold was born December 30, 1935 in Natchez, MS oldest son to Harold A. Weinbaum Sr. and Pauline Adkison Weinbaum. A long time resident of Fort Mitchell, Alabama he served most of his military career at Fort Benning (Moore) GA. He graduated from Sheffield High School Sheffield, Alabama. A Vietnam veteran with two Bronze Stars for bravery Harold retired in 1976 from the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his wives, Betty Jo and Rosa Maria.
He is survived by two sons, Harold A. Weinbaum III, Adam Joseph Weinbaum, grandchildren, Jarred, Myles and Benjamin, brothers Paul and Joel Weinbaum.
