Jeffery Allen Obituary

Jeffery Wayne Allen was the first born of three children to Dawlford Wayne Allen and Linda Faye Allen (Adkins) on February 20th 1966 in Columbus Georgia.  Jeff attended Columbus public schools and participated in many local sport clubs during his childhood. He graduated from Hardaway High School in 1984 and went on to the University of Georgia where he played football for the Georgia Bulldogs. (Go Dawgs)! He remained a loyal fan! Jeff held many occupations to include working for companies such  as Blue Cross Blue Shield, AFLAC, GMAC , Carl Gregory Hyundai and Clayton Homes. He was currently working in a family business with his brother Henry Allen and nephew Jackson Allen for Golden Flake Distributors, he was fondly called the “chip man”. Jeff married Lisa D. Allen on May 18th 1996 and raised two stepsons Brenden D. Flood and Tristan D. Flood and his son Justice W. Allen. Jeff lived in Florida with his family for several years where he enjoyed traveling, entertaining friends and going to the beaches! Jeff was an avid sports fan and especially loved College football.  Jeff was loved and known for his great personality and charming quick wit. He knew no stranger and had a unique way of making you feel as if he knew you forever! He had a smile that made you smile too! He loved his family and friends and always looked forward to an event that called for celebration. He loved a good party!

Jeffery Wayne Allen departed this life on November 15th at  Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Wayne and Linda Allen, wife Lisa D. Allen, sons Brenden, Tristan and his baby boy Justice, his brother Henry Allen, sister in law Lissa Allen, his sister Jolie Allen Hughes, brother in law John Hughes, In laws Roosevelt and Patricia  Williams,  brother in laws Eric Williams and Bobby Williams  along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, close relatives and life long friends.
