Joseph "Brian" Williams

Joseph “Brian” Williams, 47, of Columbus, GA, died Saturday June 11, 2022 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday June 14, 2022 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. ­­­­­Mike Yarbrough officiating.  The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907. Burial will be held in Northside Cemetery in Lumpkin, Georgia.

Brian was born December 15, 1974 in Cuthbert, Georgia to Evelyn “Snookie” Williams and the late Charles Robert Williams. Brian worked at Doctor’s Hospital and presently at St. Francis Hospital as a Clinical Coordinator. For over 17 years he poured his heart into his work trying to make his patients better. He enjoyed doing anything his kids wanted to do, being at the ball field with them and just spending quality time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and family beach trips. Brian was a very loving and caring person.  

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Stephanie Williams of Columbus, GA, twin children, Marlie Williams, Cohen Williams of Columbus, GA, mother, Evelyn “Snookie” Williams, brother, Rob Williams (Tracey) of Columbus, GA, nephew, Charlie Williams of Columbus, GA, and extended family.
