Leila Wyrick Braswell 88, of Columbus died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2017 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Brian Fuller officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Braswell was born July 1, 1928 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Jerry and Nellie Mae Favors Wyrick. She was the owner of Leila's Florist in Buena Vista, Ga. and was a member of Upatoi United Methodist Church where she was nursery worker for over a decade. Mrs. Braswell loved crocheting and loved her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Braswell was precede in death by her husband Bennie M. Braswell, sons, David and Steve Braswell, brothers, Dennon, Lavon and BB Wyrick and her sister Myrtis Nell Wyrick.
Survivors include her grandchildren; Jodie Stone, Jack Braswell, Becky Maddox, Ben Braswell and Ginny Braswell and 11 great grandchildren.
