Linda Bush Obituary
Linda Faye Bush, 65, of Cataula, GA died Monday May 18, 2015 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday May 22, 2015 at Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Howard White and Reverend Lynn Meadows-White officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Bush was born February 1, 1950 in Columbus, GA to the late Dennis R. Lott and Mildred Bowling Lott. Mrs. Bush was a dedicated nurse for over 45 years. She retired from nursing after 25 years with Columbus Regional. She was a volunteer at Fox Elementary where she loved to read to the children. She also enjoyed playing piano, singing in church, visiting her grandchildren and gardening. Mrs. Bush was a member of Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church. .
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Theodore Bush of Cataula, GA, daughter, Marilyn Miles (Jeff Eiffert) of Farmington, MN, son, Wm. Jeffery Miles (Sarah) Kansas City, MO, sister, Carol Ann Jones (Odell) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Caleb Eiffert, Jakob Eiffert, and Sophia Miles, nephew, Dr. Timothy L. Jones (Deena) and a niece, Kimberly Smith (Allen).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Columbus Hospice House 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909 or the Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church building fund 5122 Pierce Chapel Rd. Midland, GA 31820.
