Mary Ann Lott (Lott) Kinney

Mary Ann Lott Kinney 88, of Columbus, Ga. and formally of Hiram, Ga. died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Those who are unable to attend the services may view the services live at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com beginning at 11:00 AM.

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required for those attending the service and visitation.

Mrs. Kinney was born March 20, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Ben and Una Hutchinson Lott, Sr. She retired after 22 years working for the United States Civil Service and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga. and while living in Columbus, Ga. she attended Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Kinney was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Kinney, Sr., son, David Jack Kinney, brothers, Ben Lott, Jr. and Oscar Lott and her daughter-in-law Beth Kinney.

Survivors include her son, Bobby L. “Robby” Kinney, Jr., grandchildren, Mary Beth Kinney, Bobbie Jo Kinney Carver and her husband Dan, great-grandchildren, Jayden Michael Stinson, John Henry Carver, Dacie Jo Nash and James Treadwell, Jr. all of Gainesville, Georgia
