Norman Stubbs Obituary

Norman Dwight Stubbs, 61, entered into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on November 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife of 18 years and his children. 

A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 12, 2021 at Browns Springs Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Dwight had a burning love for God, his wife, his children, and his grand-babies. Family meant everything to him. He had a deep passion for riding his Harley every chance he could, from adventures to the mountains all the way to Texas. He was a hard-working man who loves working at Robinson Paving where he made friends who turned into family. He was so wise, and his door was always open to the ones who needed him. He was not afraid to tell you about the love of the Savior. 

Dwight was born to Emmett Norman Stubbs and Janice Virginia Harbuck, of Buena Vista Ga, on August 10, 1960. 

Dwight was preceded in death by his dad, Emmett Stubbs of Buena Vista, GA, brother, Keith Wall of Buena Vista, GA, nephew, Kenny Wall of Georgetown, GA, uncles Bobby Stubbs, Joe Stubbs both of Buena Vista, GA.

Dwight is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Misty Michelle Stubbs of Mauk, GA, son, Steven Stubbs of Buena Vista GA, daughter, Chelsea (Mark) Icenhour of Mauk, GA, Mary Catherine (Tim) Adair of Columbus, GA, Carol Stubbs (Craig) of Buena Vista, GA, Lauren (Lee) Garrett of Columbus, GA and son, Zachery (Breanna) Figueroa of Smith Station, AL. He is also survived by his grand children Austin, Landon, Isabella, Connor, Jason, Leland, Sawyer, Levi, Ethan, Carter, Grayson, Joseph and one on the way by Lauren and Lee Garrett. He is also survived by his Mother Janice Saint, two Brothers all of Buena Vista, GA, numerous nieces and a nephew.
