Patricia Stone

Patricia “’Patti” W. Stone, 64, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Piedmont Midtown.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and  Crematory with Rev. Glenn Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery.

Patti was born November 26, 1957 in Columbus, GA to John H. Wallace and the late Mary Lee Cowart Wallace. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1974, went to Columbus College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1980, and graduated from Troy State with her Masters of Early Childhood Education in 1982. She worked for the Muscogee County School District as a teacher until she retired. She loved to read, work in the garden, watch mystery series on T.V., and loved all animals especially cats. Other than her mother, she is preceded in death by her Father-in-law, Lamar Stone

She is survived by her Husband of 41 years, Steve Stone of Columbus, GA, Daughters, Taylor Silvestri (Richard) of Salem, AL, Lindsay Stone (Jonathan Locke) of Columbus, GA, Grandchildren, Ashton Silvestri (Kelsey) of Dover, DE, Colton Silvestri of Salem, AL, soon to be Great-grandchild, Brody Silvestri, father, John H. Wallace (Carol) of Columbus, GA, siblings, John Wallace Jr. (Mary) of Lawrence, KS, Michael Wallace (Kelly) of Lillian, AL, Cara (Tamer) Ibrahim of Nashville, TN, Julie Murphy of Columbus, GA, mother-in-law, Marguerite C. Stone of Smiths Station, AL, Uncle, Glenn Wallace of Columbus, GA, Aunt, Kay Wallace of Columbus, GA, several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and other family members.
