Paul Sanford Gibbons

Paul Sanford Gibbons, 84, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at his residence. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 at Parkhill Cemetery.

Paul was born November 16, 1937 in Slocumb, AL to the late William Crayon Gibbons and Gladys Culbreath Gibbons. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of Beallwood Baptist Church.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Gibbons and sister, Joyce Holloway.

Survivors include his children, Randy Gibbons of Phenix City, AL, Terry S. Gibbons of Phenix City, AL, Paula J. Grimsley of Columbus, GA, Scott Gibbons of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Keith Gibbons, Rebecca Gibbons, Clint Gibbons, Taylor Gibbons, Tiffany Gibbons, Leslie Gibbons, Kyle Gibbons; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
