Peggy Griffin Gray, 75 of Columbus, GA., died Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Greenhouse II at Calvary. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Riverdale Cemetery. Rev. Haynes Martin will officiate. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing will be required during the graveside service.
Peggy was born July 25, 1945 in Columbus, GA to the late Edwin Griffin and Betty Joyce Chambers Montgomery. She was self-employed as a Cosmetologist for over 50 years. She was a member of Living Grace United Methodist Church. She was an artist and a member of the Columbus Art Guild and she was member of DeKalb Art Council.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law Sandra Leathers.
Survivors include her husband, Wiley C. Gray of Columbus, GA., her daughters, Kelly Gray Morgan (Garris) of Columbus, GA., Tiffany Gray Calhoun (Scott) of Marietta, GA., grandchildren, Kyle Morgan, Avery Morgan, Helen Calhoun, and Emma Calhoun, sister, Betty M. Strange of Covington, GA., brother-in-law Dan Leathers of Eufaula, AL.
