Raymond "Ray" Matteo

Raymond “Ray” Matteo, 43, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Piedmont Regional Midtown.

A Memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Hallelujah Korean Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jae Gwang Lee officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the memorial service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.

Ray was born December 20, 1976 in South Korea to Philip Matteo and Mi Ok Kim Matteo. He worked at Hughston Hospital as a Physical Therapist. Ray was a black belt in Martial Arts, he loved to fish and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Philip Matteo and Mi Ok Matteo of Columbus, GA, son, Cameron Matteo of Columbus, GA, daughter, Serenea Matteo of Columbus, GA, sister, Angela Matteo of Macon, GA, and the mother of his children, Jennifer Menth of Columbus, GA.
