Regina Bartlett Obituary

Margie Regina Bartlett, 87, of Richland, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at her daughter's (Debbie) residence in Cusseta, GA. Regina was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.
A private Funeral Service will be held for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Justin Frederick officiating. A public interment will be held 1:30pm Friday, July 17, 2020 at Harmony Cemetery in Richland, GA with Pastor Robert Orr and Pastor Justin Frederick officiating. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 social distancing will be in effect at the graveside service.
Regina was born February 3, 1933 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Willie Whiddon and Inez Wall Whiddon. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis Bartlett, Sr., her son Robert Lewis Bartlett, Jr. and her two brothers, John Whiddon and Jerry Whiddon.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Daniel (Gary) of Cusseta, GA, Marilyn McGarity (Steve) of Toccoa, GA and Gina Cox (Jay) of Richland, GA, 8 grandchildren, Tracy Richardson, Curt Richardson, Kason Cox, Whitni Duncanson, Colton Cox, Kane McGarity, Keith McGarity and Kecia Cagle and 11 great-grandchildren.
Regina loved to fish, hunt, travel and spend time with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland, GA where she enjoyed participating in the Happy Hearts group and other church activities where she could spread joy to others. In addition to her beautiful smile, she will forever be remembered by her kindness, unselfishness and generosity given to others.
