Robert Nelson Mitchell, 55, of Columbus died Saturday September 2, 2023.
A graveside services will be held 11:00 PM Saturday September 9, 2023 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Robert was born June 24, 1968 to the late Thomas Nelson Mitchell and Donna Sue Alford Mitchell in Ft. Benning, GA. He was a highly decorated Eagle Scout that was dedicated to mentoring other young up and coming Eagle Scouts throughout his life.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Chip Born. Survivors include his Brother Donny Mitchell (Margie) of Columbus, GA, Sister-In-Law, Cathy Born of Logansville, GA and Nephew Jared Born of Logansville.
