Roger Charlie Norton, 76, of Columbus died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Piedmont North Hospital in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home in Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Van Brown officiating. Private interment will be held in Green Acres cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Roger was born September 14, 1945 in Dallas, Georgia son of the late Charlie Norton and Bessie Causey Norton. Roger was a retired Truck Driver with Joe Ryan Enterprises. Roger drove trucks for over 53 years and love taking care of everybody.
Survivors include his children, Tim Norton (Ginger) of Columbus, Georgia, Sean Norton (Amanda) of Columbus, Georgia, sister, Violet Fortner (Donald) of Bremen, Georgia, brother, Max Norton of Bremen Georgia, Eight Grandchildren, Mandi, Brittany, Heather, Jessica, Ryan, Dana, Kaylee, Brayden. Thirteen Great Grandkids and Companion, Rosanna Floyd of Columbus, Georgia.
