Sandra V. Waugh 73, of Columbus, Georgia died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing will be required during the visitation hours.

Sandra was born February 14, 1947 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of Lottie Juanita Bailey and the late Burnice Allen Pegg. She was a 1977 graduate of Opelika State Technical School of Nursing and retired in 2000 as an Emergency Room Nurse at Martin Army Community Hospital. Sandra loved taking care of people and animals. She was a big supporter of the Valley Rescue Mission and the ASPCA. Several of her favorite things to do where planting a summer garden and giving vegetables to people in her neighborhood. She also enjoyed feeding the hungry animals that showed up at her house.

Sandra is survived by her mother; Lottie Juanita Bailey; one sister; Connie J. Pegg and two Brothers; Allen B. Pegg and Thomas J. Bailey.
