Beyond her work and family, Shirley was known for her love of gardening and landscaping. Her home was a testament to her green thumb, filled with vibrant flowers and lush plants she had nurtured with care. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed engaging in puzzles, playing bingo and SCRABBLE, and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.
