Timothy Ray Massengale, Sr., 48, of Columbus, GA died Thursday May 21, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Clark Standard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Timothy Ray Massengale, Sr. was born January 23, 1967 in Columbus, GA, son of Rosemary Massengale and the late Ray Massengale. Tim along with his father, Ray, and son, Timmy, shared a love for baseball and spent many hours learning life's lessons on the ball field. He was always full of love and laughter and never seemed to meet a stranger. His passing has left an incredible void in our family. He will be forever missed.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Massengale of Columbus, GA; a son, Timothy Ray Massengale, Jr. of Columbus, GA; his mother, Rosemary Massengale; stepsons, Tyler Graddy, Eric Graddy, and Davis Graddy all of Columbus, GA; three brothers, Rafe Massengale (Amy) of Columbus, GA, Todd Massengale of Columbus, GA, and John Massengale of Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers, those so desiring may make contributions to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Rd, Columbus, GA 31909, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA, 600 Celebrate Life Pkwy, Newnan, GA 30265.
