Trent Michael Bowens

Trent Michael Bowens, 34, of Columbus, Georgia passed away at his residence and went to his eternal home with his Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2021. A celebration of life for Trent will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA, with Reverend Bradley Bowens and Reverend Mike Randall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, immediately following the service. Reverend Bradley Bowens and Reverend Mike Randall will officiate the service.
 

Trent was born on September 29, 1987, in Fort Benning, GA, to his loving parents, Gregory and Audrey Bowens of Columbus, GA. He was a very loving, active and adventurous child and adult.  He graduated from Hardaway High School in 2006 where he excelled in academics and playing baseball.
Trent had a love of fishing that began at a very early age. He also enjoyed hunting deer and ducks, growing vegetables and cooking. He loved his dog, Molly, and his truck.  He was an avid fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Trent’s strength and fierce determination were proven following a severe illness in the last few years of his life and as a result, he became our Miracle. Trent remains our miracle and will always be in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Chester Bowens, Jr., and maternal Grandfather, Milton Dean Earley.

In addition to his parents, Trent is survived by his paternal grandmother Juanita Bowens of Columbus, GA, Uncle Johnny Bowens (Becky) of Midland, GA, Aunt Dianne Hatcher (Chuck) of Midland, GA, cousins Jason (Tammy) Hatcher of Box Springs, GA, Bradley Bowens (Jessica) of Deatsville, AL, Lisa Gentry (Jimmy) of Phenix City, AL, John Bowens of Midland, GA and numerous other family members.
