Cheryl Denise Vannoy Hill

Cheryl Denise Vannoy Hill, 67, of Columbus, GA, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Jones County, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Glenn Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.

Cheryl was born February 13, 1955 in Columbus, GA to the late Hurshel Y and Barbara H Cullefer. After graduating from Hardaway High School in 1973, Cheryl pursued her nursing education through Columbus Technical College 86’ and Chattahoochee Valley Community College 92’. While 36+ years of Cheryl’s life was dedicated to caring for others professionally; she gave her lifetime caring for others personally. As a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church, Cheryl was a proud participant of Sojourners Sunday school class. Cheryl supported Little League & Babe Ruth Baseball, St. Jude Hospital, PAWS Humane Society, Tunnel to Towers and Victory Junction Camp.

Survivors include her siblings, Cynthia (Jimmy) Luker, Keith (Lorraine) Cullefer, Valerie (David) Cannella, and James (Susan) Cullefer; children, Darrel Vannoy (Ashley), Amber Marsh (Brian) and David Vannoy; grandchildren, Jagger Vannoy, Presley Vannoy, Reagan Reid, Harper Vannoy, Cole Marsh, Aason (Brittany) Marsh, Thomas Marsh, Tyler Whitehead, Trinity Marsh, Jorja Marsh, Gavin Veal, Landon Scott, Jordan Marsh, Levi Marsh, Rawk Marsh, Liam Crosby, Kayln Mullis & Kailyn Vannoy; great grandchild, Aason “AJ” Marsh, and her Uber driver (companion) Steve Willetts.
