Obituary
Terry Martin Register, 68, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jimmy McIlrath officiating, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The services will be live streamed at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com for those not able to attend.
Terry was born July 28, 1953 in Columbus, GA to the late Norman Register and Laura Wright Register. He worked in construction as part owner of ATW Inc. He started working at the age of 14 and became an amazing builder. He loved playing golf in his free time and being around his family, friends and grandchildren. He was a member of the Ridge Church.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lorene Berdoux Register of Columbus, GA; children, Christina Simmons (Scott) of Columbus, GA, Cameron Durham (Clayton) of Columbus, GA; sister, Becky Bishop (Bud) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Cole Durham, Canaan Durham, Hudson Durham, Grayson Durham, Ty Ross; mother-in-law, Renate Berdoux of Columbus, GA; sister-in-law, Cindy Ivey, Columbus, GA; niece, Chelsea Mullins (Andy), nephews, Travis Sanders, Mike Bishop (Lucy), Marcus Bishop, Jon Bishop, Wes Bishop (Danielle) and several other family members.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to John B. Amos Cancer Center, 1831 5th Ave, Columbus, GA 31904.
